Oh no! Oh this is an absolute shame. Can't believe she's died so soon. May she RIP. Can't believe how many tragic deaths we've had so far this year.

This is a terrible shame. I met her in Blackpool two years ago, and she was such a nice lady. It might seem clich├ęd to say it, but she was genuinely warm-I asked her questions she's probably been asked a million times, and she replied as if it were the first time, because I think I could tell how personal meeting her was to me. We had a genuine conversation, and she took time to sign my autograph-she had such delicately beautiful handwriting. I would have loved to have met her a second time, but she had to cancel another local event-in hindsight, it was probably due to her diagnosis. May she RIP-I hope it's a very long time before we lose another companion.

One day later, and I'm still in shock. One moment she is sweet innocent Victoria, and the next she's just gone. It's a real tragedy.

I completely agree. To be honest, I was expecting a companion to die soon, as it's been five years since we lost Caroline John and Mary Tamm, but, with the greatest respect to the other companions, I was praying it would be anyone bar Deborah Watling, she's one of my true favourites and very underrated I think.

Dalek, that is a morbid thought, expecting a companion to die soon..

I can understand what you're saying Dalek, but I think that is a bit far to have certain preferences for which companions you hope do and don't die next.
